Where the hawk Soars
High on a mountainous pass, built into a wall of rock that separates two ancient kingdoms, lies the Sanctuary of Andasola. For centuries the home of a mysterious group of mystics, known as the Keepers of the Flame, this remote place offers a very purposeful refuge for those who come prepared. The Keepers have a very special skill - they can construct a set of psychological circumstances that produce rapid personal evolution for those with the courage to face the challenges that go with such an encounter. Masters of human nature, the Keepers welcome all within their stone walls, but treat nothing as coincidental.
To arrive at the Sanctuary of Andasola is to be changed.
Two groups of people arrive at this high citadel on a dark and bleak night. The first are a group of Pilgrims - companions on a joint quest, whose very nature is emerging from the shadows of their own minds as they travel together. The second group comprises two Troubadours - holders of ancient lore which they convey in song, word and gesture to those who ask in the right way. With them is a child, a very special child - one entrusted to their care in this wild and dangerous landscape.
But the Troubadours face a dilemma. They are on a mission to find and free a great King, a noble figure destined to rule a very special Kingdom; but the King is lost and believed to be a prisoner; and only the Troubadours possess the key to find him again. They have also sworn to look after the child. As they wrestle with these twin cares, their destiny brings them face to face with the Pilgrims in the Sanctuary, watched over by the Keepers, who see a very special purpose in the events unfolding before them, and that a great liberation is at stake that will demand their all.
With gentleness and love, the entire company comes to realise that they are all there for a purpose, that each has much to learn about their own lives through the encounter in the mountains.
Join us for the Song of the Troubadours, Weekend of April 19-21, Derbyshire Hills.
A few places remain.

Door of Dreams
Door of Dreams
by Echo
Would you walk the corridor of dreams,
Into the dark and unknown inner places,
Where silent voices whisper your desires
From unkissed lips upon amorphous faces?
Into the dark and unknown inner places,
Where silent voices whisper your desires
From unkissed lips upon amorphous faces?
Dare you cross the Temple chequerboard,
Where black and white in alternating tread
Reflect the hope and terror of the night,
To face imaginations deepest dread?
Where black and white in alternating tread
Reflect the hope and terror of the night,
To face imaginations deepest dread?
Could you face each inner world you find,
Knowing that they are a true reflection
That show the turmoil of the conscious mind
Destroying your illusion of perfection?
Knowing that they are a true reflection
That show the turmoil of the conscious mind
Destroying your illusion of perfection?
Can you face the demons hidden there,
Where every rock and tree and fragrant flower,
May hold the cryptic kernel of your fears
Reverberating with emotive power?
Where every rock and tree and fragrant flower,
May hold the cryptic kernel of your fears
Reverberating with emotive power?
Look deep into the mirror of your dreams
To see reflected ancient joys and sorrow,
Begin to read the soul that journeys there
And face today and walk toward tomorrow.
To see reflected ancient joys and sorrow,
Begin to read the soul that journeys there
And face today and walk toward tomorrow.
